SUPERVISOR INDUSTRIAL CLEANER

Working Monday to Friday, 14.00 – 20.30 hrs, the Supervisor sets the pace and the standard for this vital cleaning role.


Successful candidates must have previous commercial cleaning experience and supervising in the food industry is advantageous. You will manage the other team member, ensuring the high cleaning standards have been met daily.

 

 

KITCHEN PORTER

Working three days a week, Monday to Saturday, 09.00 – 17.00 hrs, in this job share role.
A great opportunity for someone working in the Catering Industry who wants to join a small friendly team, work part time with every other Saturday off.

 


The successful candidate may have previous experience although full training will be given. This is a busy kitchen and like any Coffee Shop you will be using the dishwasher, cleaning floors and helping the Catering staff. 

 

 

TRAINEE RETAIL BUTCHER COUNTER ASSISTANT

 

Working five days a week, Monday to Saturday, 07.30 – 17.30 hrs, £4.05 per hour.

 

The life of a Retail Butchery Counter Assistant is interesting & varied, and we are seeking a school leaver to learn the role. 

As a trainee butcher you’ll keep the fridges stocked and clean, learn how to interact with customers, learn about the different products so you can give advice to our customers and learn how to be an excellent retail butcher.

 

 

 

We are looking for a professional, fully qualified butcher who takes pride in their skill & wants to pass on their knowledge to trainees & customers. If you are as passionate about butchery, people & success as we are and are interested in running your own Butchery counter then please be in touch.

BUTCHER COUNTERS IN TESCO STORES:


Due to continued success, we are currently recruiting for a number of roles throughout our stores. For customer orientated, professional individuals this may be the perfect move for you.

You will be based in our Butchery Counter in one of the Tesco Superstores, in teams of 3 to 4 staff and will work over five days Monday to Sunday, with store times specific to location.

 

BUTCHERY COUNTER MANAGE/SUPERVISOR NEWTOWNARDS 
 45 hrs approx. Week, (Mon to Sun, 5 days per wk)

 

We are looking for a professional, fully qualified butcher who takes pride in their skill & wants to pass on their knowledge to trainees & customers. COUNTER BUTCHER
Working across our Greater Belfast Stores, 45 hrs approx. Week, (Mon to Sun, 5 days per wk)

 

We are looking for fully qualified butchers to bring their butchery & traditional customer service skills to our busy counters. Interacting with customers, giving advice on the product including how to cook it, you’ll see and use opportunities to sell more product and all the time you’ll smile, laugh and build a good relationship with your customers. Plus, whilst you’re doing all of this you will be mentoring the Counter Assistants.

COUNTER ASSISTANTS

LOCATIONS:

  • CRAIGAVON – 45 hours per week 
  • NEWTOWNARDS –  45 hours per week

 

The life of a Retail Butchery Counter Assistant is interesting & varied.
Working Monday to Sunday, the counter can be busy, and when it’s a bit quieter then it’s about making sure the Primacy Counter gleams.


As a trainee butcher you’ll be interacting with customers, giving advice on the product including how to cook it, you’ll see and use opportunities to sell more product and all the time you’ll smile, laugh and build a good relationship with your customers.


Successful candidates may have previous customer service experience, however, an outgoing, confident manner and ability/willingness to learn new skills in a catering/food environment will be just as helpful to get you started and we will teach you the rest.


And don’t forget, once you’ve worked through our Counter Assistant Training Program if you want to progress further, you can apply for our Management Training Scheme.

 TRAINING:

Training is provided for interested candidates. We also operate a Career Progression Programme that could lead to salary increments and on to our Supervisor Programme. In recognition of our skilled staff we want to promote from within so Counter Assistants can develop into Counter Manager’s roles with full support from the company.

No previous experience necessary, just the right attitude to work and commitment to the role as part of a growing team.
