We are proud to launch our new range of Northern Irish Wagyu Beef, partnering with local Wagyu farmer Peter O’Hagan. With over 10 years of breeding this extraordinary breed of cow offers unique beef as tasty as it is rare. We at Primacy are proud to now be the main supplier of this remarkable product.
To celebrate our new specialty range we are hosting a 4 course tasting event and talk with Peter O’Hagan with a Prosecco reception.
What is Wagyu Beef?
Originally bred in Japan, Wagyu Beef is best known for being beer fed & massaged creating a unique marbled meat that is considered a delicate luxury worldwide. Tasting this beef is an unforgettable experience!
The evening includes an exciting 4 course tasting menu consisting of Wagyu meatballs with parmesan shavings, Wagyu burgers with homemade ketchup, Wagyu chump steak and chips and Wagyu silverside roast with red wine reduction and glazed carrots it will be a night that the guests tastebuds will not forget! There will be time for questions so you can find out if these cows really are massaged & fed beer!
The event is open to anyone, but is restricted to 50 guests. Tickets cost £10 and include the tasting menu and a glass of Prosecco on arrival.
Guests on the evening will be able to pre-order Wagyu products before it goes on general sale. Stocks are limited. The Wagyu meat will be available to pre-order to all customers in the Primacy Food Village starting from Sat 25th April while stocks last.
