This is a national award and we are very pleased to be recognised especially when we were up against so many other great butcher shops in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales!
The award is given to butcher shops who demonstrate a high level of quality and are judged on the following criteria:
Shop front entrance and window display
Shop interior layout and design
Cabinet displays
Use of marketing and promotional materials
Efficiency, team-working abilities, knowledge and presentation of staff, training and development of staff
Back-of-shop organisation
Hygiene
Awareness of, and involvement with, the local community
Awareness of, and involvement with, local food supply chains
