Two generations of the family are currently working in the Farm Shop and Farm. We all have our own jobs to do in the day-to-day running of the shop.
George does most of the work on the farm but everyone comes together to help out when needed e.g moving the sheep, bedding and feeding the cattle etc.
Stephen & Ross helped out on the farm from an early age and learnt all things farming. As they got a bit older they helped out in butcher shops after school and at the weekends . Traditional butchery requires a knowledge of the live animal as well as knife skills, hanging processes etc and the background of the brothers covers both these areas. After leaving school they worked their way through the 5 year apprenticeship scheme at Primacy Meats to become fully qualified butchers and their years of meat experience coupled with an understanding of customers needs has led to the development of the range of products we offer today.
Their passion for serving only quality produce and vision in developing new meat packs and value-added products is how we aim to make a difference.
Nicola concentrates on the green grocers and Coffee Shop areas of the business and is continually sourcing new products and looking for new ideas. She also heads up the marketing and advertising and runs the website and social media.
With a background in accountancy Nicola gets loaded with all the bookwork, organising of staff and the dreaded bills!
